Botox injections are relatively safe when performed by an experienced doctor. Possible side effects and complications include:

- Crooked smile or drooling
- Eye dryness or excessive tearing
Although very unlikely, it’s possible for the toxin in the injection to spread in your body. Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these effects hours to weeks after receiving Botox:

- Vision problems
- Trouble speaking or swallowing
- Breathing problems
- Loss of bladder control

Step by Step Procedure of Botox Injection Treatment
Botox injection is a minimal procedure that only takes a couple of minutes. It causes little to no discomfort.
- In preparation for treatment, you should avoid alcohol and stop taking any inflammatory medications for at least two weeks before the procedure.
- You will be injected with anesthesia or an anesthesia cream is applied in the areas that have wrinkles. And it is done by a licensed medical professional.
- When the procedure starts, the consultant will recognize the treatment areas first. Then they will use a small needle containing Botox, and inject it into specific muscles on your face.
